Accessible Gazebo

May 27th, 2010

Aside from just being an elevated gazebo, you have to admire the quality wood structure. According to the architects this was a treehouse but I would beg to differ since the structure isn’t built in a tree.

  1. Incredible. I’ve looked into buying some of these prebuilt and they’re more expensive than having a custom one built for you. Not exactly what I was expecting.

    Nice find.

Imagine sitting in there with a coffee and a sketchbook on a misty morning. Beautiful.

Put a desk in the middle and call it an office!

Actually, put a tatami / futon in the corner and have an office / house. That’s my dream.

  4. Ian I didn’t think of that idea. How amazing it would be to sit there early morning in the fog while doing your work. Part of me would like to see an option with windows so that it could be used during the winter.

Looks like it has windows on at least a couple of those benches. Just needs some double-glazing and French windows at the front now! Oh, and some throw pillows, deep-pile rugs and a wood stove. You know, the basics. ;)
