When I think of Switzerland, I think of it as this wonderful place to travel to. A lot of that has to do with my feelings toward Swiss design and my prior perceptions of the country based on movies or reading.

As I came across these images I couldn’t help but notice just how amazing each image looks in both a stylistic and compositional sense. I also came across these other photos in the same flickr stream that had that same 60′s/70′s film look that we’ve all come to love, but I don’t believe they are all from Switzerland.

I want to ski in the Swiss Alps. Apparently my Dad’s side of the family came from Switzerland, and we have distant relatives who are sponsored mountain climbers! Having driven through the country when I was younger, I can confirm that it is indeed as beautiful as these pictures. :)

  2. Ian I’m right with you on wanting to ski/snowboard in the Alps.
I’d very much like to take a trip there this coming year. It would be an amazing experience and I know I would return with thousands of photos.

My dream is to go anywhere in Switzerland. Stunning landscape and architecture all around. I am not sure why tails of planes make for such interesting pictures but they do every time.
