Wooden Textile Blanket

Elisa Strozyk is the creator of this “wooden textile” blanket. The final product is a half wood, half fabric combination that until now, seemed very foreign. This would be absolutely awesome to have. Found via Freshome.

The processes to transform wood into a flexible wooden surface is its deconstruction into pieces, which are then attached to a textile base. Depending on the geometry and size of the tiles each design shows a different behavior regarding flexibility and mobility. There are various possible applications, for example as floorings, curtains, drapes, plaids, upholstery or parts of furniture.

Lamborghini Urus Super SUV

Lamborghini is one of my favorite car manufacturers. Lamborghini’s most current announcement was the Lamborghini Urus super-SUV. This is a completely new direction for the modern brand as well as possibly an insight to what the other cheaper SUV manufacturers may try to do in the near future. Though it’s safe to say that none will come close to the 600 horsepower engine $200,000 price tag of the Urus. Catch a review here of this concept SUV.

Awesome iPad 3 Concept with Edge to Edge Screen

The key highlights of this iPad 3 concept include edge-to-edge screen, magnetic iPads with near field communications (NFC) and 3d holographic display for multiplayer games. Not a gamer? Nor am I. It’s just that these features would make a much more interesting experience.

Having not acquired an iPad yet, I’ll be looking to get one after the March 7th Apple iPad event. You have to imagine that Apple has done designs similar to this, but because they haven’t produced it, I wonder where the faults or questions in design lie.

Pantone Chair & Christmas Ornaments

Nearly anything Pantone is awesome. These chairs and ornaments are no exception. The chairs come in an assortment of colors and are surprisingly comfortable to sit in. Sure they aren’t as comfortable as your Aeron, but they would make great corner of the room or conference table chairs.

The christmas tree ornaments are made of glass and also come in an assortment of colors. The only place I’ve seen them available so far is from Seletti. The chairs can be purchased here

Braun Watch Collection

Braun has always been known for quality products and quite possibly the best minimalist design solutions. The company’s new watch collection extends beautiful design to our wrists by offering a few different models. The cost of one of these watches is about $190 which isn’t bad when compared to Rado or IWC. I’m looking at this model for my next watch purchase.
