Innis Arden Mid-Century Modern Remodel

December 1st, 2010

Build LLC recently completed a beautiful renovation to a mid-century modern home in Seattle’s Innis Arden neighborhood. On all of Build’s projects but this project in particular, they’ve done an exceptional job working key modern aesthetics into the structure and interior design.

As you work your way through the house your eyes will come to rest on one really great feature—the fireplace. The minimalist design using steel panels around a a clear front window really adds the needed touch to feel authentic to mid-century design. The wood selection of the house couldn’t be more relevant or better fitting than it is. Would you want to live here?

More pictures and full process behind the renovation: Part 1 & Part 2.

Totally love it, quite a swell renovation. And I do agree with the fireplace, it pulls in the authentic mid-century design.
