I think what’s most important to me is Kurt Andersen’s comment about a personal desk being a place where you can feel very comfortable being by yourself. A lot of work is done more effectively in solitude and I can never seem to feel the same ‘vibe’ when I’m away from what I call “home”. Sometimes some variation and change of scenery can do the trick, but then I’m rarely by myself.

I love this desk. It’s a really really cool desk. And the second desk – the colourful supports for the top shelf look great and funky as well. Liked the videos too. I agree Mikael about the personal space being the most inspirational place. I have freelanced on offices and it ever feels the same.
