Vintage Audio Cassette Inserts

August 7th, 2010

If you were to ask me three years ago if I liked these cassette inserts, I probably would have said no. It just hadn’t occurred to me just how powerful the design is on these. I just can’t seem to get enough—these inserts are beautiful in every way. I believe they are from the 70’s but I’m not exactly sure on that. Check out the full collection and this site for the cassette stickers.

    Graham—great to hear from you.

Such a solid collection. Speaking of solid design, have you seen this BBC styleguide? I think you may have actually linked it in one of your guidelines posts.

These are awesome! So true what you said, I would never have considered casette inserts to be a hot spot for good design.

Damn that Boots C120 would be so cool if not for the hokey couple and the cassette brushed into the middle. I think LH90 or Emitape C12 are my faves.

Shelby, really nice cassette inserts, they pretty much remind me of the cookie box designs I made in my graphics design class. I’m looking forward to more enlightening posts from you.
