1967 World Fair Postcards

July 20th, 2010

A few more postcards from the ’67 World’s fair in Montreal. With some of these postcards I just really enjoy the logo and style of the photograph the most.

That first one has to be a painting, surely? What kind of photo treatment would that be? The second one looks like a miniature model. Where do you find this stuff, or is that top secret?

The first looks like a painting (the signature hints that), the second a model, and the third looks like cross processed film.

It’s funny you ask where I find these because its never one spot. These I actually found on eBay. I ordered two of them and will take photos and post them when they arrive via snailmail.

you ordered two? soo sick! good post I love these. First and second ones are my favorites.

These are unfairly cool. They also make me wonder how people did design before photoshop, which made me think of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Et_LsxlX8Y&feature=player_embedded

Crazy how innovative people had to be in order to do thinks we take for granted.
