Beautiful icons, must have taken a great deal of time and effort to create each set. Great find, great post.
There is an artist I saw at the A.I. of Chicago in the Modern Design wing that used icons like these that you see all over the world, he took them out of the original context (maps and blue prints, etc.) and blew them up a bit in scale, then had quite a few printed. I cannot remember the artist’s name for the life of me but it was cool to see.
Great icons, thanks for sharing. I’m wondering, what plugin you’re using for the Featured Posts section?
Tristen,
I actually don’t use a plugin…yet. I may eventually step into a plugin to handle all of those but as of right now I create each thumbnail and enter them. It’s rather quick for me, but a cms-side solution would be better.
If you want to use a good featured posts plugin though, you might check out this one: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/yet-another-featured-posts-plugin/.
