    These almost look like they have some sort of linen texture. Now I know that not to be the case, but wouldn’t that be cool?

    It really does look like linen doesn’t it! That would make the feel of this mag quite amazing.

    Do you have the actual magazines or are these just something you stumbled upon surfing the internet waves?

    They are linen, because it was a hardcover serial publication put out by the Cowles Communications group from the 1960′s through the early 70′s. You can still find editions on Amazon and Ebay.

    This is a really cool magazine. I have a copy myself, and it has wonderful illustrations and quite a nice layout. Too bad indeed.
