This house, located in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, was constructed as a family residence in 2006. When designing it, Architect Augusto Fernandez Mas (K+A Diseño) focused on space and comfort. The nature around the house was also kept in mind as the architecture blends beautifully into the surrounding landscape by the use of materials such as wood, stone and metal that reflect the natural surroundings.
What an inspiration it would be to live in such a rich architectural environment like this one. It’s places like this where the magic happens. Not to say my current apartment isn’t a good environment to work in, but it just doesn’t compare to this house. Check out the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman in the third image. It compliments the living space quite well doesn’t it?

thanks for sharing. these are gorgeous photos, a total dream house. I love love love the bedroom in the 6th pic. It looks so nice and peaceful, with the trees surrounding it.
Wow, that’s definitely a dream house. I love that dark wood all around, especially on the patio around the pool.
This is definitely the most beautiful house I’ve ever seen. It feels so warm in the sunlight. I could sit on the Eames Lounge and read my entire library forever…

Absolutely love these photos, and the architecture. Love that library. Great photos, love the blog keep it up!
Although I’m not sure if the color accuracy of the photographs is very high, I’m loving the warm tone, really sets the mood for the house. Great simple architecture, that Eames Lounge Chair really does blend in fantastically.

Nice house and Nice Interiors. Very minimalist. The new approach to Minimalism maintains order but, is more relaxed. This has resulted in a broadening of the appeal. This decorating form will always have a place among those who view their home as an oasis of order in a world of chaos and clutter.
I’d do almost anything for this house.
Nice post, beautiful house and great pics… Thanks For sharing! Just one thing, The name of the place is Cuernavaca. Maybe a finger mistake, but, just saying.
